
The 14th edition of Accountex London took place on 14-15 May 2025 at Excel London, welcoming more than 16,000 attendees, including more than 12,000 unique visitors.
This marked a 10% increase from the previous year’s show.
The event attracted visitors from across the UK and internationally, including Nigeria and the Seychelles.
Accountex London portfolio director Caroline Hobden said: “With the MTD mandates fast approaching and AI transforming software and the way we work, there was an electric atmosphere at the show.
“The reaction from the profession has been amazing, with 75% of exhibitors already rebooking their stands for next year.”
The event featured more than 300 service and software providers, including prominent fintech companies such as FreeAgent, Intuit QuickBooks, IRIS, Sage, TaxCalc, Wolters Kluwer, and Xero.

By GlobalDataExhibitors showcased a wide range of services, from document management and cybersecurity to audit services and cash flow forecasting, offering live demos and sharing tech updates.
The event hosted more than 250 sessions across 13 theatres, featuring 295 speakers from the accounting and finance sectors.
Key topics included Making Tax Digital, AI’s impact on work, Robotic Process Automation, cyberattacks, R&D legislation, apprenticeships, and sustainability reporting.

The sheer variety of vendors meant I left with fresh ideas and software I hadn’t even known I needed.”
New features at the show included the Olyusei App, a UK first, which provided attendees with clear audio via their own headphones.
The Solo Traveller Lounge was introduced for visitors attending alone, and British Sign Language interpretation was available across three stages, in collaboration with AAT, Accountex’s first ‘Accessibility Partner’.
The FD Show, announced at Accountex London, will launch in 2026, focusing on finance leaders with expert insights, practical solutions, and live sessions.
It will feature more than 40 key suppliers offering enterprise solutions for finance professionals.

Accountex Summit Manchester is set to return on 23 September 2025 at Manchester Central, featuring more than 120 fintech suppliers, a free CPD-accredited seminar programme, and a post-show networking event.
