XBRL International has
made two senior appointments to its Board of Directors and
International Steering Committee.
Alfred Berkley has been
appointed to the XBRL Board of Directors. Berkley is currently a
chairman at Pipeline Financial Systems and serves on the XBRLS US
board. He has previously been the president and vice chairman of
the NASDAQ Stock Market and has more than 30 years of experience in
financial services, investment banking and securities
analysis.
Chris Church has been
named as the official jurisdiction representative in the XBRL
International Steering Committee. Church is currently chief
executive of Americas and global head of securities at Society for
Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT). He also
serves on the XBRL US board.
