The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board
(PCAOB) has appointed Helen Munter as director of its registration
and inspections division.
Munter will oversee the PCAOB’s largest
operating division, which conducts periodic inspections of hundreds
of registered public accounting firms located all over the
world..
Prior to joining PCAOB in 2004 Munter worked
for Deloitte in San Francisco and Barcelona.
Munter will start in her new role 1 March
2011.
