Middlesex University has
launched two online courses backed by the Chartered Institute of
Management Accountants (CIMA).
The Professional Masters
(MProf) in Accounting Practice and MProf Finance Practice awards
are designed for CIMA members and aim to bring together practice
and academic study.
“By enabling candidates
to reflect and learn from what they do on a daily basis and
relating it to academic theories, candidates will become not only
more reflective practitioners, but ultimately more effective
managers,” Middlesex University Head of Accounting and Finance
Firoozeh Ghaffari said.
Members can use their
CIMA qualifications to exempt themselves from the first stage of
the three stage course.
The courses take two
years to complete on a part-time basis and start in either
September or January.
