UK software company IRIS’s products are now
iXBRL compliant for corporation tax computation.
The updated products include IRIS’s Practice
Suite, PTP and Drummohr.
The upgrade comes almost a year ahead of the
UK Treasury’s 31 March 2011 deadline for companies to introduce
XBRL tagging for corporate tax purposes.
XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language)
is an electronic tagging system for financial information.
According to IRIS, about half of the UK’s
28,000 accounting practices currently rely on IRIS accountancy
practice software.
