The Institute of Chartered Accountants in
England and Wales (ICAEW) has made the IFRS learning and
assessments programme available in Spanish for the first time.
ICAEW’s IFRSs learning and assessment
programme aims to provide finance professionals with demonstrable
international financial reporting knowledge and has been available
in English for several years.
Candidates for the ICAEW Spanish-language
IFRSs learning and assessment programme will be able to take a
paper based two hour multiple choice exam in Spanish in various
locations across North and South America by the end of 2011.
“We are delighted to offer our IFRSs learning
and assessment programme in Spanish to help finance professionals
in Latin America increase their IFRS skills and obtain independent
verification and attestation of their knowledge,” ICAEW director of
qualifications Gavin Aspden said.
