Of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in
England and Wales (ICAEW) students sitting the June professional
stage examinations, 73% passed all the papers they attempted.
More than 900 candidates completed the
professional stage and 50% of these students did not fail any
papers.
Eight of the 10 prize winners in the
International Subject Order of Merit were women.
Almost 4,000 candidates attempted the
Professional Stage exams at the June 2010 session. The pass rates
for the respective papers were:
- Business Strategy – 87%
- Financial Reporting – 77%
- Financial Accounting – 94%
- Audit and Assurance – 82%
- Taxation – 88%
- Financial Management – 77%
- Financial Accounting Top-up – 87%
