The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) is seeking candidates to join the IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group from 1 April 2020. The IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group contributes to the development of the IFRS Taxonomy by providing regular input on taxonomy-related issues.

The Group provides advice to the IASB and the IFRS Foundation on the content and technology of the IFRS Taxonomy. Members assess the feasibility of proposed changes to the IFRS Taxonomy and provide advice on whether such changes accurately reflect the presentation and disclosure requirements in IFRS Standards.

Members are drawn from a variety of business and geographical backgrounds. The IASB is keen to appoint members with professional experience as preparers or users of electronic financial reports prepared using the IFRS Taxonomy. Technical knowledge of the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) is desirable, but not required.

In line with the IFRS Foundation's usual policy, the positions are unpaid and do not offer expenses.
