GRI and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Europe used a webinar to present the results of a project that has collected information on the implementation of the Directive 2014/95/EU and has assessed non-financial reporting across all EU member states. It has also outlined the implications of the directive to businesses.

Having worked with CSR Europe since the drafting process of the directive and its subsequent adoption in 2014, GRI has created a platform for gathering information through the two organisations’ networks, and all results are contained in a publication due to be launched on November 22, called Policy & Reporting: Member State Implementation of the Directive 2014/95/EU.

The report, aimed to enable non-financial reporting dialogue across Europe, will disclose the main requirements of the various national laws, in terms of scope, reporting topics, reporting features, assurance, fines and other aspects as well as the similarities and differences in the way the directive has been transposed in different countries.

The data presented during the webinar, made available to both members of the GRI GOLD Community and CSR Europe, was confirmed by all the relevant ministries.
