The UK Financial Reporting Review Panel (FRRP)
will focus on commercial property, insurance, support services and
travel sectors during its reviews in 2011-2012.

The FRRP said it will focus on companies
operating in niche markets or those outside the FTSE 350 as they
are seen to face more risk in the current economic climate than
larger, more diversified companies.

The role of the FRRP is to examine the annual
accounts of public and large private companies to establish whether
they comply with requirements of the Companies Act 2006, including
applicable accounting standards.
