The UK Financial Services Skills Council
(FSSC) will change its name to the Financial Skills Partnership and
become a charity from early 2011.
The changes come on the back of the
organisation’s strategic review in the run up to its re-licence in
March. And its recent partnership in September with the Scottish
Financial Skills Gateway marks the start of the transformation.
Other changes are to its corporate structure
to enable it to work more effectively with stakeholders, including
launching a sector panel for accountancy and finance.
The FSSC is an independent, employer-led
sector skills council for finance, accountancy and financial
services.
The changes are pending confirmation from
Companies House.
