The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and
Accountancy (CIPFA) has teamed up with the National Audit Office
(NAO) to provide capacity building support to Supreme Audit
Institutions (SAIs) in developing nations.

The NAO and CIPFA will be working with SAI staff to help provide
“a higher quality of public service delivery, better value for
money for international aid, more transparent accounting processes
and accurate and comprehensive accounts”, CIPFA said in a
statement.

The agreement was finalised on 25 November at
the INCOSAI conference in South Africa.
