The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and
Accountancy (CIPFA) has appointed Alan Edwards as its international
director.
Edwards, a former partner at PwC and KPMG, has
fifteen years experience of government advisory work and has worked
in public services and consultancy roles.
He has acted as CIPFA international director
on an interim basis for the past four months and is stepping down
from the institute council to adopt his new role.
CIPFA projects support public financial
management professionals in countries including Lesotho, Tanzania,
South Africa, Nigeria, Serbia, Kosovo, Slovenia and Canada.
