The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the US Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) have signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA).
The MRA enables members of both organisations, under certain conditions, access to one another’s credentials – IMA’s CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or ACCA’s professional membership.
ACCA and IMA also started an initiative, Financial Leadership and Performance, for the finance profession to support career development goals of aspiring and existing chief financial officers.
The initiative features the launch of a new website, www.roleofcfo.com, containing ACCA and IMA reports, research and insights.
