Mark Gold has been elected president of the
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Gold works as a senior partner of accounting
firm Silver Levene, specialising in SMEs in the entertainment
sector.

Gold has been a member of the ACCA council for
the past 10 years and is also vice chairman of the ACCA
SME committee.

Gold was elected at the ACCA annual general
meeting in mid-September.

Finance director for the UK’s National Health
Service Dean Westcott has been appointed deputy president and
professor of accounting at Melbourne’s Deakin University Barry
Cooper is the new vice president of the ACCA.
