ACCA content, quality and innovation executive director Alan Hatfield said: “It is always pleasing to see so many students focus on their journey towards ACCA membership as demonstrated by this robust set of mid-year results.

“For the June session we have seen ongoing strong engagement with our new CBE Practice Platform, which delivers an improved user experience for students. On-demand resources and supplementary live sessions again form a key part of the guided learning support journey ACCA provides.

“We also support Approved Learning Providers by offering continued guidance for incorporating ACCA resources into their own offerings, with a focus on supporting tutors delivering mock exams via the Practice Platform.”

Hatfield also congratulated the students who have now finished all their exams and are progressing to affiliate status.

He added: “We look forward to welcoming them to membership when they will join over 257,900 talented and committed ACCA members around the world undertaking successful careers and making a positive impact.

“We are now just over a year away from delivering our redesigned qualification.

“The ACCA Qualification has always been the gold standard, globally recognised and highly valued by employers. It will remain as rigorous, relevant and future-focused as ever, with an even sharper focus on employability.”

The published figures also cover results from the ACCA’s on-demand exams for Foundation Diplomas, Applied Knowledge and Law.

These on-demand sittings accounted for an additional 39,072 exams.

Last month, the ACCA and AFIAAR signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance accounting standards and support career growth for professionals across Africa.
