Scheduled for 5 June at Innovation City, Darter Road, Cape Town, the event is sponsored by accounting software provider Xero.
Registration is now open with tickets priced at R100 ($5.6) for early bird and R150 for regular admission.
The gathering aims to address the dynamic role of accountants in today’s technology-driven and increasingly remote work environment.
The ‘Accountants of the Future’ event is part of a series designed to promote innovation, career development, and strategic networking among finance professionals.
With the advent of AI, the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), and ongoing regulatory changes, the event seeks to prepare accountants for the future landscape of their profession, the company said.
