Makoto Koizumi has been appointed as chairman
of the best practise board for the XBRL international steering
committee. He will take over from Ralf Frank.
Koizumi is a XBRL consultant at the Fujitsu
research institute and has been working on XBRL for the past eight
years.
The board’s mission is to manage methods and
processes for the successful development, implementation,
integration, maintenance and usage of XBRL.
Makoto is a founding member of Interoperable
Taxonomy Architecture group, which is a joint initiative of the
Japan Financial Services Authority, the International Accounting
Standard Committee Foundation and the US Securities Exchange
Committee.
