The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) announced its new chief executive, Tim Mohin, effective from 16 January 2017. He takes over Eric Hespenheide who has led GRI for six months on an interim basis.

Previously Mohin has lead various leadership roles at several largest companies such as Advanced Micro Devices, Intel and Apple. He also has some experience in the public sector as he worked in the sustainability field both at the Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Senate.

His extensive background in corporate sustainability reporting, commitment to our multi-stakeholder process and his understanding of GRI’s Global Sustainability Reporting Standards (GRI Standards) makes him an ideal fit.”
