The consultative advisory group (CAG) of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB) has elected Thomas Müller-Marqués Berger as its first chair for a three year term ending in June 2020.
Berger was appointed as inaugural chair in 2016 when the CAG was formed. He is currently EY global head for international public sector accounting. Previously, he served as the chair for Accountancy Europe’s public sector group.
The CAG is a forum of 22 representatives from public and private sector organizations as well as individual stakeholders.
