C Ian Anderson has been appointed New York regional associate director at the US Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
Prior to joining the PCAOB, Anderson served as senior trial counsel in the Division of Enforcement in the Miami office of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). His new role is a part of the recently created PCAOB Division of Enforcement and Investigations.
"Anderson comes to the PCAOB with strong skills and an excellent track record in his work for the SEC and in private law practice," PCAOB Division of Enforcement and Investigations director Claudius Modesti said.
"With the addition of Anderson, the enforcement staff further enhances its ability to conduct effective investigations and disciplinary proceedings as we continue to advance the Board’s mission of protecting the interests of investors".
