The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) has elected four members to the ISCA Council.
They include: group chief operating officer and managing director for Singapore, Ho Kuen Loon, at Fullerton Health Corporation; chief executive officer and managing partner, Tan Kuang Hui, at Crowe Horwath First Trust LLP; senior vice president, Don Wee Boon Hoong, at United Overseas Bank Limited; and head of assurance and audit partner, Christopher Wong Mun Yick, at Ernst & Young LLP.
ISCA’s 2018/2019 AGM, held on April 27, also saw the election of Roger Tay Puay Cheng, head of audit, partner, KPMG LLP as ISCA treasurer.
In addition to the four newly elected Council members, four Council members were re-elected to the ISCA’s leadership team.
ISCA president, Kon Yin Tong, said: “We are pleased to welcome our new members to the Council. With the Council’s years of experience in leadership positions across diverse industries, I am sure that the Institute will benefit greatly from their counsel and guidance.
“In this fast-changing business environment, the profession needs to be ready to meet the challenges in the shift towards Industry 4.0. I look forward to working together with the ISCA Council in preparing the accountancy profession for the future.”
