Institute of Management Accountants reports 11% increase in membership

The Institute of Management Accountant (IMA) has reported an 11% growth in membership in the year to June 2017 and a 40% increase in the number of candidates to its Certified Management Accountant (CMA) programme.

With a 40% increase, the total number of CMA candidate reached a record high of 41,000. The IMA members have also increased by 11%, up to 90,000. IMA expects that by its 100th anniversary in 2019, its total number of members will rise to 100,000.
