The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) has promoted three members of its senior leadership team to senior vice president status.
Doreen Remmen has been promoted to senior vice president of operations and chief financial officer. As staff liaison for IMA’s Planning and Development Committee, Remmen will continue to work closely with all the institutes value streams to execute strategic plans and innovation initiatives.
Steven Weiss has been promoted to senior vice president of global membership, marketing, and business development. He will be responsible for delivering content solutions through diverse media channels in an effort to reach targeted markets around the globe.
Dennis Whitney has been appointed senior vice president of certifications, exams, and content integration. In his expanded role, Whitney will continue to manage the ICMA team and support IMA staff charged with the creation and development of high-value, integrated content for its members.
“As IMA continues to grow in influence, respect and size globally, these three leaders will play an integral role in sustaining IMA’s growth and serving members, the profession, and society,” IMA president and chief executive Jeff Thomson said.
