Yael Almog has been appointed as executive
director of the IFRS Foundation.

Almog will be responsible for management of
the IFRS day-to-day operations and supporting the work of the
standard setters trustees.

Almog’s appointment follows the departure of
Tom Seidenstein who after more than 10 years left the
Foundation.

Almog currently serves as director of the
department of international affairs of the Israel Securities
Authority (ISA), the Israeli market regulator.

She was closely involved in the implementation
of IFRS in Israel.
