participate in the development f IFRS following the launch of a new
outreach programme by the International Accounting Standards Board
(IASB) and its overseer, the International Accounting Standards
Committee (IASC) Foundation.

The enhancements to investor outreach
include:

  • Investor alerts whereby investor perspectives of updates on
    financial reporting matters will be published;
  • An investor resources section of IASB website;
  • Dedicated plans to seek investor input for each project. For
    example, the IASB will deepen its engagement by further developing
    activities focused on investors as part of its project
    communications plans.
