Martin Edelmann has been appointed as the
member of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) by
the IFRS Foundation trustees.

Edelmann’s five-year term starts 1 July
2012.

Edelmann has served as a member of the German
Accounting Standards Board and was the head of reporting at
Deutsche Bank between 1997 and 2011.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank Edelmann worked
at KPMG as a senior manager.

He was also member of the accounting working
group of the German Banking Association for 14 years and served as
chairman for seven years until 2011.
