Following the launch of the World Survey 2019 in the IAB’s February edition, we have now launched a free digital supplement covering some highlights of the table which can be viewed here.

The IAB World Survey is an annual ranking of the top networks and associations by both fee income and staff numbers. This is includes data on global revenue, regional breakdowns and information on the various service lines.

The supplement provides a high level overview of some of the findings from the World Survey, including charts showing how the relative strengths of the various service lines have evolved across the industry since 2008.

They show a continued rise of advisory services, due in part to digital development and the growing need for cross-border advice.

This year’s tables saw the Big Four pull further away from the mid-tier, with the gap between KPMG and BDO almost reaching $2bn.

In addition to the financial results, the free digital edition also has reveals how different regions are progressing when it comes to gender diversity. This year more than half of those who responded to the World Survey supplied the IAB with some data on female staff numbers. We hope that this transparency on gender diversity continues to grow in future editions.
