Grant Thornton UK and BPP have announced the launch of a business mentoring apprenticeship, the Coaching and Professional Scheme.
The newly developed scheme includes a 14-month training programme which will allow employees to work with a range of individuals and organisations to develop their professional skills. The programme focuses on creating a practical output from the start and will teach core coaching skills, such as contracting and advanced listening as well as theories of coaching in the workplace and scenario knowledge.
The Coaching and Professional Scheme joins a range of development programmes offered by Grant Thornton in collaboration with leading education providers. The scheme costs £5,000 ($6,630) and eligible organisations will be able to use their Apprenticeship Levy to cover the entire costs of the programme. The first intake will join the programme in October 2020, and will then intake quarterly after that.
