The Federation of European Accountants (Fédération des Experts-comptables Européens – FEE) has issues a paper aimed at improving knowledge and practice of combined and carve-out financial statements.

The paper, Combined and Carve-Out Financial Statements – Analysis of Common Practices, summarises common issues and challenges encountered when preparing the statements in compliance with IFRS as well as the most common practices used to address them.

The paper is addressed to preparers and practitioners as well as to standard setters, regulators and academics. The FFE said it plans to keep adjusting the paper to evolving practices and welcomes comments from stakeholders.
