The Canadian Public Accountability Board (CPAB) CEO Brian Hunt will step down at the end of his contract in February 2018 according to an announcement by CPAB chair Nicholas Le Pan.

Hunt will remain senior counsel to the board on a part time basis after he steps down as the CEO.

Hunt has been elected as the chair of the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators (IFIAR) for a two year term which will end in the spring of 2019.
