New Zealand is
experiencing a shortage of chartered accountants with most
employers warning the situation could decline further as the
economy improves, according to a Deloitte survey.
The report said
employers in the country are skeptical about future workforce
growth, with only 30% of large companies predicting growth and 22%
expecting a contraction.
Turnover rates are
expected to be low, despite the recent period of salary stagnation
and general belt-tightening, according to report
findings.
