With less than 90 days to go before the end of the Brexit transition period, the UK’s Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is launching a sector-by-sector webinar series to help businesses prepare for the end of the transition period.

As the UK is leaving the EU single market and customs union on 31 December, the webinars aim to explain what the changes will mean and the actions businesses must take to avoid interruption.

The webinars intend to guide on certain issues such as importing and exporting goods, the process for hiring workers from the EU, and how to provide services in EU markets.

Business sectors being covered by the webinars are:

  • Services and Investment                 13 October
  • Retail                                               14 October
  • Automotive                                      14 October
  • Metals and Materials                       20 October
  • Electronics and Machinery              21 October
