The American Institute of CPAs and the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) have announced that they will host their first joint summit later this year.
The joint summit follows on an agreement announced last year between the AICPA and CIIPA to share resources on professional development and organisation building.
CIIPA chief executive Sheree Ebanks said: “This conference is a centrepiece of our efforts to showcase emerging issues and best practices for the accounting profession in the Caribbean region.”
The summit will host finance professionals including members from both CIIPA and AICPA doing business in the region and public accounting staff in Cayman Islands and the Caribbean.
