The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) has been recognised as an International Certification Organisation by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai.
KHDA is the educational quality assurance and regulatory authority of the Government of Dubai which oversees the private education sector, including early childhood education centres, schools, higher education providers and training institutes.
AAT international regional manager for the Gulf region Karen Evans said: “We are proud to be registered as an International Certification Organisation by the KHDA. As a leading awarding body, recognition of our world-class accounting and finance qualifications by the KHDA strengthens our commitment to extending the reach of our qualifications in the UAE. This stamp of approval gives AAT learners the assurance that they will be receiving education of a globally reputable standard.”
AAT started offering qualifications in the Middle East in the 1980’s. It has since trained over 5,000 people in finance and accounting, and is now able to bring its qualifications to a wider audience in Dubai. AAT is continuing to work towards this level of recognition across the rest of the United Arab Emirates and Middle East.
