The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has appointed three senior members to its leadership team as part of a restructuring designed to support its long-term strategy, Direction 2030. 

Louise Coleman has been named chief membership officer; Dana Day will become chief learning officer, and Laetitia Rennie will take over chief brand and marketing officer role.

Coleman is set to join her duties on 19 November 2025. Her responsibilities will involve shaping ICAEW’s global membership framework, with a focus on refining the organisation’s approach to member engagement and experience at all stages.  

Coleman has spent more than 20 years working across finance, legal, and media sectors, most recently holding the position of global head of customer success and service delivery at Fitch Solutions. 

With more than 25 years of experience in education and financial sectors, Day will oversee the institute’s learning provision for both students and members, including updates to the ACA qualification and other professional development initiatives.  

She is currently managing director for global partnerships and business development at CFA Institute.

Rennie role will cover oversight of ICAEW’s brand and marketing strategy, with responsibility for engagement, retention, and outreach activities.  

Rennie joins from London Business School where she led the global brand strategy as chief marketing and creative officer. 

Day and Rennie will assume their roles on 5 January 2026. 

All three roles will report directly to chief executive Alan Vallance and are part of a broader C-suite restructure involving nine core areas.

Earlier in October 2025, ICAEW for the September 2025 ACA Professional Level exams, which were taken by 4,916 candidates.
