Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand has appointed Kate Boorer as its president for 2022.
Additionally, the CA ANZ council has appointed Tinashe Kamangira as the new vice president for Australia while Murray Harrington continues to serve as vice president for New Zealand.
All positions began on 1 January 21 2022 and will conclude at the end of the year.
Boorer is currently the Founder of Young Professional Women Australia and Partner of Quantum Impact Group, a consultancy which specialises in the alignment of capability, leadership and organisational culture with business strategy.
Kamangira is a director at Deloitte Australia. He has more than 16 years of accounting, taxation and business advisory experience, serving private businesses and the family’s that own them.
Harrington holds a number of directorships and governance roles in infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, healthcare and the public sector. For many years Murray was a Partner in PwC and then the CEO of NomosOne, an Australasian software company, with customers in many countries.
