According to a press release posted on Zawya, Kaddache will also represent the organisation in senior stakeholder forums throughout the region.
The appointment comes amid economic diversification in the Gulf and rising demand for internationally qualified finance and accounting professionals in the GCC, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
AICPA and CIMA Asia-Pacific vice-president Venkkat Ramanan said: “Nassima combines deep market knowledge with a genuine passion for developing talent, and I am confident she will strengthen the value we deliver to our members, students and partners across these fast-growing markets.”
Based in Dubai, Kaddache has developed “trusted relationships” with universities, employers, government bodies and strategic partners in the markets she covers, the statement said.
Kaddache joined the association in 2013 and has since taken on increasingly senior leadership roles.
She has led initiatives in student recruitment, professional pathways, membership expansion, employer engagement and academic partnerships.
Kaddache said: “I am honoured to take on this expanded role at a time when our profession is evolving rapidly.
“My priority is to strengthen our impact across the region – deepening relationships with our key stakeholders, expanding opportunities for aspiring and established professionals, and ensuring that our members, students, employers and partners see meaningful value from their engagement with AICPA and CIMA.”
