Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has partnered with the Parliamentary Knowledge Foundation (PKF) to enhance Members of Parliament’s (MPs) understanding of public and private sector operations.
The ACCA and Parliamentary Knowledge Foundation partnership will see ACCA’s members participate in PKF’s modular schemes, which are designed to inform MPs about sector-specific issues and practices.

The partnership was formalised through a memorandum of understanding signed at the Houses of Parliament in November 2025.
Initially, PKF’s modular schemes will focus on three areas: Frontline Services (including emergency services), Energy and Environment, and Wellbeing and Sport.
In its second phase, the Foundation plans to expand coverage to Industry and Infrastructure, Health, as well as Youth and Education.
PKF founder and CEO Jamie Anderson said: ‘‘We are delighted to have partnered with ACCA. Both for the range of experience they will bring through their members directly to the Schemes as well as the support they will give us a Foundation as we continue to expand.

By GlobalData“We are particularly excited to have ACCA’s broad and diverse membership base represented across the Schemes. With their global experiences from across the public, charity, and private sectors giving vital context to the realities of running organisations in different sectors and of different sizes.”
Through this arrangement, ACCA members will share their experiences from both public and private sectors to help MPs gain a clearer perspective on how organisations operate, manage finances, and address sector-specific challenges.
Additionally, ACCA will support PKF with advisory expertise as it continues to develop its programme of providing impartial knowledge for Parliament.
PKF intends to use ACCA’s insights to offer MPs a practical understanding of organisational structures and management approaches in various fields.
ACCA will also provide support to the non-profit Foundation.
ACCA Relationships executive director Lucia Real-Martin said: “We are so delighted that ACCA is to work with this fantastic scheme. ACCA will look to support PKF as a key voice representing business, the public sector, financial services, and management services as well as financial inclusion issues for individuals.
“We look forward to providing expertise on how small enterprise to global corporations manage their challenges and we hope to provide MPs from every political party with essential context in financial management challenges and opportunities.”
