“The establishment of the region will
significantly enhance our ability to offer access to the portfolio
of ICAEW qualifications and capacity building services while also
facilitating our work on technical and regulatory issues in
partnership with professional institutes across Europe,” Manuzi
commented.

Manuzi represents the ICAEW on the
Qualification and Market Access Working Party of the Federation of
European Accountants (Fédération des Experts Comptable Européens –
FEE). He acts as the technical adviser to the UK member of FEE
council on behalf of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy
Bodies.

ICAEW chief executive Michael Izza said Manuzi
has been a driver for the institute establishing relationships with
key accountancy stakeholders and bodies across Europe.
