Stuart Dunlop has been appointed head of the
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Middle East
office.

Dunlop, who will be based in Dubai, leaves his
position at Thomson Reuters to replace Stephen Shields, who last
year was appointed ACCA global director.

“As ACCA’s head of the Middle East, I will be
looking to build on the significant growth in student numbers and
members in the region achieved in recent years,” said Dunlop.

“Specifically, I want ACCA to build closer,
valuable business relationships with members and key employers
throughout the region,” he said

Dunlop will serve a client base of
approximately 9,500 members and students
