The trustees of the IFRS Foundation have
appointed Takatsugu Ochi as a member of the IASB for a five year
term.
Ochi currently works for a financial resources
management group Sumitomo Corporation as assistant general
manager.
Ochi is also a member of the IFRS
interpretations committee
He will begin his term 1 July 2011.
The IFRS Foundation has also announced the reappointment of
Philippe Danjou, who will serve a second five-year term as IASB
member.
