The International Accounting Standards Board
(IASB) has appointed Hilary Eastman as head of its investor liaison
programme.
The programme aims to encourage greater
investor participation in the standard-setting process.
Eastman is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
and has worked at the IASB since 2006.
She is currently a senior technical manager
responsible for the Fair Value Measurement project.
Eastman will succeed Luci Wright, who will
become the technical manager supporting the IFRS Interpretations
Committee.
