According to media reports on the continent,
Rwanda’s accounting professionals previously had to obtain their
license in Kenya or Uganda, which has led to a shortage of auditors
in the country.
ICPAR is said to currently have 214 registered
professional accountants in the country, of which only 55 are
Rwandan.
