The UK Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has appointed Giles Derry as its corporate finance faculty chairman.
Derry is currently a partner at mid-market private equity firm Dunedin.

Prior to his partnership with Dunedin in 2005, where he was responsible for "origination activity across both the direct and intermediary channels," Derry worked at Sand Aire Private Equity.
The ICAEW Corporate Finance Faculty is tasked with "developing effective policy with government, regulators and other professional bodies."
