It highlights how CGMA professionals are helping organisations adopt new technologies such as AI, make investment decisions, manage risk, and create long-term value, a statement said.

CIMA president and co-chair of Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) Alfred Ramosedi said: “CGMA Week shines a spotlight on the talent, achievements and impact of CGMA professionals around the world.

“Every day, members of our global community help organisations make better decisions, navigate complexity and drive sustainable performance.

“This year’s theme, CGMA: Ready for What’s Next, reflects the adaptability, ambition and leadership that define our profession.

“It is also an opportunity to recognise how those qualities will continue to shape the future of finance and accounting and serve the public interest.”

Throughout the week, members, students, and volunteers will be sharing their experiences, achievements, and ambitions.

The event is also showcasing how CGMA professionals are developing their careers and contributing to finance, accounting, and business.

Participants are being invited to answer two questions: what they are most proud of, and what they are looking forward to.

Their responses are being collected on the CGMA Week Wall, bringing together perspectives from across industries, sectors, and geographies.
