The Beijing International Professional Qualification Directory (2025 Edition) has been updated to include the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)’s Digital Management Accounting (DMA) credential.
The integration is a collaborative effort by the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Beijing Talent Work Bureau to create a standardised system for the assessment of international professional qualifications.

The DMA Programme, developed in partnership with the China International Talent Exchange Foundation (CITEF), aims to equip professionals with the skills required for digital and data-driven management.
The programme aligns with the Chinese Ministry of Finance’s 2024 policy directive focused on enhancing digital and intelligent management accounting skills and interdisciplinary financial roles, the CIMA noted.
The institution stated that DMA credential holders will now experience a more streamlined process in securing employment, obtaining residence and professional title recognition as well as social security benefits in Beijing.
This development is intended to facilitate the growth of talent and support the digital transformation efforts of businesses in the city, the press release said.
