Qatar Chamber (QC) and the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants (QCPA) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to formalise collaboration between the two organisations.
The document was signed at Qatar Chamber’s headquarters by QCPA chairman Sultan bin Hassan Al Dhabet Al Dosari and Qatar Chamber acting general manager Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansori.

The agreement aims to enable joint work on initiatives and events that serve Chamber members, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized business owners, and other beneficiaries.
The cooperation set out in the MoU covers training and advisory support delivered by the association, including certified tax specialist courses, professional diploma programmes and skills-focused workshops designed for the relevant groups.
Al Dosari said the memorandum aligns with the association’s objective of increasing professional and scientific collaboration with government bodies and other related organisations.
He referred to the QCPA’s role in advancing the accounting and auditing profession in Qatar through specialised activities and wider engagement locally and internationally.

He also noted that Qatar Chamber will make training venues available for joint programmes agreed by both parties and will work with the QCPA on projects and initiatives of shared interest.
In May last year, Qatar’s Ministry of Labour, working with the QCPA, organised a training session to develop internal audit capabilities among Qatari nationals.
The course, entitled Internal Audit Standards, was designed to help Qatari accounting graduates prepare for private sector roles.
