The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has signed a strategic partnership with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL).
As part of the partnership, ACCA products and services including qualifications, certificates and diplomas will be offered jointly by the two organisations, who will also be seeking "further working developments" with learning providers, regulators and employers, according to an ACCA statement.

SOEL president Harilaos Alamanos said: "At a time of renewal for the Greek economy and society as a whole, it is of crucial importance that Greek financial professionals are capable of meeting the challenges arising from this process of adjustment."
He welcomed the partnership with ACCA as to be successful he said Greek certified public accountants will need to be trained in accordance with international standards.
