The members of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) are now eligible for the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) membership and CMI’s qualified route to gaining the Chartered Manager award.
In a statement ACCA said that the collaboration with CMI came as an answer to their members’ aspirations of acquiring management and leadership qualifications.

"By working together, ACCA is able to align the needs of members aspiring to achieve the hallmark of any professional manager," ACCA chief executive Helen Brand said.
CMI chief executive officer Ann Francke said that CMI was looking forward to welcoming more ACCA members as the accountancy profession has a critical role to play in delivering business growth.
Francke added that CMI’s qualification would help build the capacity of ACCA members to make a practical impact on businesses
